The 1940s

The 1940s was the decade of the Second World War. America entered the war December 8th 1941 after “The Day That Will Live In Infamy”. The war ended in Europe on May 8th, 1945 (VE Day) and in the Pacific August 15, 1945 (VJ Day).

In 1942, yearbooks were reduced to one each year.
